Doxall is a disinfectant with many applications, including as a hand sanitiser, a surface cleaner, and a TGA-approved disinfectant. Doxall’s disinfectant product is proven to kill a wide range of bacteria and viruses, including coronaviruses such as SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19), influenza virus, hepatitis B group virus, VRE, MRSA and more. This means by using Doxall you are protecting your home and family from potential infections.
The patented science in Doxall™ relies on unlocking the power of a safe, natural fatty acid called Decanoic Acid which is part of everyday foods and is also made by your skin for germ protection. Using Doxall™ means naturally powerful protection from germs without exposure to traditional cleaning and disinfection chemicals which can be toxic, irritating, and harsh.
Our Doxall products contain active substances which have bactericidal and virucidal activity. After rigorous testing, Doxall has been shown to be effective against Staphylococcus aureus, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Salmonella choleraesuis, S. aureus, E.coli, P.aeruginosa, and P.vulgaris.
Yes! Testing against the internationally recognised ASTM E1053 standard, Doxall shows virucidal efficacy against the COVID virus within 10 minutes of being applied to a surface.
Yes, our Doxall disinfectant is a TGA listed disinfectant (L352273) proven to kills 99.9% of bacteria, Herpes Simplex virus, Polio, and SARS-COV-2 virus (COVID-19).
Our research shows that when sprayed and left on hard surfaces, Doxall retains its antimicrobial activity for up to 4 hours after the initial application.
The appropriate concentration of Doxall changes depending on what you’re using it for. As Doxall comes in a range of products, some for use on skin, and others for disinfecting hard surfaces such as floors, children’s play equipment, and kitchen bench tops, there is no singular answer to this question. That’s why we have done the hard work for you in calculating the right concentration for your required purpose – just purchase the right product for your desired purpose and check the bottle’s usage instructions.
Australia has very stringent standards for classifying cleaners, sanitisers, and disinfectants. Doxall has met these testing standards to prove effectiveness against 99.9% of germs and is recognised as an effective household disinfectant. So yes, Doxall is just as effective as traditional cleaning products!
Our research shows Doxall, when used daily in high traffic touch points like elevator lift buttons, provides superior antimicrobial outcomes when compared to traditional cleaners. After two weeks of daily use, Doxall performed up to 5 times better in reducing nasty germs when compared against a standard benzalkonium chloride (QUAT) ‘hospital grade’ disinfectant.
Doxall is available to use directly on the skin as an effective hand sanitising lotion. As Doxall’s active ingredients are derived from naturally occurring substances, Doxall actually nourishes human skin, leaving it feeling moisturised and soft.
Doxall’s two primary ingredients, decanoic acid and L-arginine, are both derived from naturally occurring substances. Decanoic acid is found naturally in coconuts, while L-arginine is a naturally occurring amino acid found in most protein rich foods. What nature has produced for us is now being chemically replicated when making Doxall in commercial quantities.
Doxall is not recommended for human ingestion. However, it is reassuring to know the two primary ingredients are sourced from responsible suppliers with quality standards to food grade quality. L-arginine, an amino acid that helps the body build protein, is found in most protein-rich foods, including fish, red meat, poultry, soy, whole grains, beans, and dairy products. As a supplement, L-arginine can be used orally and directly on the skin. Decanoic acid, also known as capric acid, is a naturally occurring saturated fatty acid containing ten carbon atoms. It can be found in coconut oil and goats’ milk. So, accidental ingestion of Doxall is unlikely to cause serious harm, however we still recommend seeking health advice if this occurs.
When used correctly, Doxall products are safe to use around pets.
No, you don’t need to wear PPE when using Doxall. The active ingredient used in our surface cleaners is the same as the active ingredients used in our hand sanitisers, so there is nothing in Doxall you’d need to protect your skin from.
Doxall products are safe and suitable for sanitising use of children’s equipment.
Yes, Doxall was developed in Australia, and is proudly manufactured at our facility in Melbourne, Victoria.
If a product has an expiry date it will be printed on the packaging.
No, Doxall doesn’t contain any alcohol. We developed Doxall as a replacement for alcohol-based sanitisers so people could sanitise their hands without drying out their skin. And, reassuring to know, you are avoiding any chance of accidental alcohol ingestion by children.
No, we proudly state Doxall does not contain any quaternary ammonium compounds. There is growing evidence that too much contact with these compounds, which are also known as QACs or QUATs, may be detrimental to human health, so we think it’s a good thing that Doxall doesn’t contain any.
No, we proudly state Doxall does not contain bleach (sodium hypochlorite or hydrogen peroxide). Bleach can cause distressing discolouration/yellowing of surfaces, and unwanted aromas. It’s also very harmful to human skin and can be hazardous to health when inhaled or accidentally ingested.
